The Small Point Summer School is a non-profit day camp for children from the Small Point and surrounding communities, generally running from the end of June to mid-August. For over six decades, SPSS has offered a safe, fun, socially rewarding, adventuresome and environmentally responsible experience for children aged 3 to 16. SPSS believes that learning takes many forms, and that structured play provides opportunities for children of different ages and abilities to develop skills, gain confidence and explore new interests. Many SPSS campers go on to become counselors-in-training (CITs) and then counselors, passing along the sense of place and spirit of exploration that they acquired from those who came before them.
